I visited the manufacturer yesterday (it's nice when it's just a 5 hr drive and not a 16hr flight) and took some video of the ZupBoards being produced. It's exciting to see them emerge out of their shiny rotomold tool and be adorned w/ the components they need to take on the world.
Just recieved a part in Shapeway's new elasto plastic. This is going to be a helpful addition to the arsenal of materials available for 3D printed products and protos.
I did a more thorough write up on this flexible new material and somehow got it posted on Solidsmack! Go read it quick before they catch on.
Still hot from baking in my render oven, here are fresh Zup visuals to appease your appetite until you can start consuming wake on your own Zup Board - now shipping!
